2024 Direct School Admission to Dunearn Secondary School
2024 Direct School Admission (DSA) to Dunearn Secondary School
(For admission to Secondary One in 2025)
Introduction
DSA-Sec allows students to seek admission to a secondary school on the basis of talents and achievements that may not be demonstrated at the Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE). DSA-Sec enables students to enter suitable academic and non-academic programmes in secondary schools that can develop students according to their strengths and talents.
Dunearn Secondary School leverages its Learning for Life Programme (LLP) - Community Youth Leadership (CYL) and Applied Learning Programme (ALP) – Food Science and Technology to realise its vision of developing students to be ‘Life-long Learners, Caring Leaders’.
1. Community Youth Leadership
Students will be equipped with leadership skills, competencies, and knowledge as they embark on the comprehensive CYL programme. They will be developed to serve as student leaders in the capacity of Student Councilor, Peer Support Leader or CCA leader, where there will be ample opportunities for them to apply their leadership skills.
Dunearn Secondary School invites 2024 Primary 6 students who are keen to develop their interest and talents through our Community Youth Leadership programme, to apply for direct entry to our 2025 Secondary 1 cohort.

Students will develop the dispositions associated with scientific literacy to become confident and creative young scientists through the signature Food Science and Technology programme. Students embarking on this programme will be nurtured further in critical thinking skills, creativity and inventive thinking, and communication and ICT skills.
