Dunearn Secondary School is proud to announce that we have achieved the "Vanda Miss Joaquim Sustained Achievement Award" in 2022 due to our continuous green efforts!
The School Green Awards (SGA) is a voluntary environmental programme which serves as a platform for students to develop and showcase their environmental efforts, through customized activities which will help them gain better understanding of the environment. Every year, submissions come from preschools, primary schools, secondary schools, junior colleges, international schools, schools for students with special needs, and from schools overseas.
Our school environmental programmes and school-wide activities aim to nurture our students as Environment Champions to form good environmental habits and involve the wider community and school stakeholders in environmental efforts. The "Vanda Miss Joaquim Sustained Achievement Award" is the highest tier award for schools that achieve three consecutive “Vanda Miss Joaquim” Awards. Well done!
