2025 Secondary 1 Registration

Release of Secondary 1 Posting Results

1.        The Sec 1 Posting Results will be released on Wednesday, 18 Dec 2024.

2.        Students and parents do not need to report to their posted secondary schools physically upon receiving their Sec 1 Posting Results. An SMS will be sent through your child’s/ward’s primary school.

3.        Students and parents can click here for the Sec 1 (2025) booklist. Instructions for purchasing books and uniforms will be sent to parents via Parents Gateway on Wednesday, 18 Dec 2024 from 5 p.m. onward.

4.        Parents of the incoming Sec 1 cohort who are on Parents Gateway (PG) may receive instructions from the posted schools to submit their e-registration on Wednesday, 18 Dec 2024 from 5 p.m. onward.

Medical Appeal Exercise (MAE) - For Serious Medical Conditions or Severe Physical Impairments

1.        The MAE is reserved for students who require a school transfer due to serious medical conditions or severe physical impairments.

2.        Applicants can submit their appeal by 12 pm on the next working day after the release of the posting results.

Request for Transfer to Dunearn Secondary School

1.        Requests for transfer following the Sec 1 Posting Results are subjected to our school’s considerations based on guidelines and circumstances.

2.        Note that the cut-off point and available vacancies must be met before we can consider the request.

3.        Parents can write to us within 5 calendar days following the Sec 1 Posting Results day at dunearn_ss@moe.edu.sg with the subject line "Request for Transfer". We will assist you further from there.

4.        Applicants may be placed on the waiting list. While on the waiting list, students should continue to report to their currently posted school.

5.        Please note that our school’s decision on the request outcome is final.
