Secondary 1 Registration for Academic Year 2023

General Information

With effect from 2022, the Sec 1 Reporting and Registration exercise will be completed electronically. The main modes of communication channels will be via Parents Gateway (PG) and the school website.

  • Students and parents are not required to physically report to their posted secondary school, on the next working day following the release of S1 Posting Results on 21 Dec 2022.
  • A welcome handbook containing Sec 1 general information will be sent to Sec 1 parents via PG from the afternoon on 21 Dec 2022, Wednesday. Parents' acknowledgement to the PG form will serve as proof of registration. Thereafter, information regarding Sec 1 stream and class allocation as well as the Secondary One Orientation Programme (SOOP) form will be sent to parents via PG on 22 Dec 2022, Thursday.
  • Parents can also click here to access and read through the Sec 1 Handbook General Information for Parents.
  • Parents or students may visit the school's General Office in person should they require assistance for urgent queries. Alternatively, parents can e-mail the school at dunearn_ss@moe.edu.sg or call the school at 65653692 for general queries.

    Purchase of Books, Stationaries and Uniforms

    Parents and students will have the following options to purchase their books and uniforms:

    • Online purchase order starting from 21 Dec 2022. Please click here to access the portal to purchase books, stationaries and uniforms online. The password to access the portal is 668822. 
    • Purchase from the school bookshop in person from 27 Dec 2022 to within the first week of Jan 2023 during Sec One Orientation Programme (SOOP) week.

      Application for Transfer into Dunearn Secondary School

      Please be informed that any transfer requests following the Sec 1 Posting Results are subject to special considerations and circumstances which will be referred to the Ministry of Education for evaluation and approval.

While being on the waiting list, students should continue to report to their current posted school.

Please note that transfer appeal out of Dunearn Secondary School for medical reasons should be submitted to the school by 22 Dec 2022, 12 p.m. Applications will be reviewed and subject to MOE’s considerations and approval .
