Direct School Admission

2019 Direct School Admission (DSA) to Dunearn Secondary School

(For admission to Sec One in 2020)

The DSA-Sec allows students to seek admission to a secondary school on the basis of talents and achievements that may not be demonstrated at the Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE). The DSA-Sec enables students to enter suitable academic and non-academic programmes in Secondary Schools that can develop the students according to their strengths and talents.

Dunearn Secondary School invites students in Primary 6 in 2019 who are keen to develop their interest and talents through our Applied Learning Programme– Food Science and Technology, to apply for direct entry to our Secondary 1 cohort of 2020.

Admission Criteria

We welcome students who:

  • have a desire to pursue their interest and passion in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM),
  • possess critical thinking skills, creativity and inventive thinking, and communication and ICT skills, and
  • demonstrate desire to lead teams in STEM-related projects and programmes.
